Schnauzer Dog -Mischieviousness sparkles as this spontaneous, bundle of joy beams like a neon sign saying ‘Just Loving Life’. Every yap, every song and every adventure this little mind can think up celebrates affection, involvement and companionship. Gilded copper leaf depict boldness and strength. I use a minimalistic art style for my pet portrait art, choosing to focus the realism of the artwork on the eyes, nose and mouth of the pet. This portrait incorporates accents of Copper Leaf throughout to offset the orange and add interest to the artwork in varying light. The shimmer from the copper leaf catches the light in interesting ways. This is a signature style of the pet art and pet portrait commissions that I undertake.

I intentionally do not use realistic colours in my pet portrait artworks, choosing instead to celebrate the personalities of furbabies with bright and contemporary colours that are categorised by personality traits. This way, the artwork intuitively tells a story about the pet being displayed.
