A small, vertical, rectangular, textured painting. The design plays with the the interlocking shapes of light and shade as it falls an a damaged, grey concrete slab. Its wandering dark cracks are key to this composition. Random pieces of tape also catch the eye - 3 fragments of hot pink tape stand out as they arch off to the left of the picture frame, while a different, beige, solitary piece appears camouflaged as hovers top right in the sunlit area. Only on closer inspection do we notice the beige tape is an adhesive, first aid strip.

'Cracked'

A horizontal, rectangular, highly-textured painting. The palette used, incorporates a background of dark, city-coloured grey with reds peaking through. The dominant feature in this work is a huge, cracked, turquoise-coloured arrow, painted diagonally from top to bottom of the frame. Though it points upwards, its apex and bottom shaft have been cut off from view - as it's entirety extends out beyond the frame. Our gaze is drawn into the play of negative shapes between the bold arrow area and its surrounding ground, as well as to the intricacies of its cracks and the tinny fragments caught inside them.

A horizontal, rectangular, textured painting. The palette used, incorporates a range of city-coloured greys. It has real pebbles scattered across the middle, a slash of black tape that reaches from the top to the bottom of the canvas frame on the right-hand side, a banner of shadow across the top of the canvas, and a collaged stack of layered industrial materials fills the left-hand side of the design - highlighted there by a brilliant splash of bright blue paint and a piece of red wire.

A horizontal, rectangular, painting. The palette incorporates a range of urban-inspired greys. The main aspect of the composition is essentially focussed on 4 unequal rectangles laying across the surface. The top two have a greenish-neon background pushing through an upper, off-white layer, which is itself, spattered with a surprising smatter of different-sized red dots. A selection of metallic objects enhance the painted areas adding to the flavour of its industrial springboard.
