Morning light streams across the open sided yards of Kinchega woolshed.

Kinchega Woolshed near Menindee NSW was built in the 1880s and has seen 6 million sheep shorn and employed many hundreds of workers. A huge amount of wool was barged down the nearby Darling River. It has been empty since 1967, but is protected by National Parks.

Bold yellow and red vertical stripes flow downwards over blue stripes with an orange medallion in the centre and a flow of green on the left hand bottom corner.Transparent turquoise and blue organic oval shapes hover over a blue striped background. Fine detail patterning emerges from the big shapes.A close up section of sea, looking at the colours reflected and the colours under water.A long horizontal canvas shows an expanse of a lily pond. Light glimmers across the central area. The water and the flowers are painted in dabs of pure pastel colours.
