An abstract study of skulls from the Melbourne museum, drawn in watercolour pencils but without the addition of water. The fragility of materials, the fact that a single splash of water could destroy the work, mimics the themes of fragility of life, and the pull that is death. Skulls are often used as a strong sumbol for death, and I find them beautiful and interesting to draw. The Study is available as an A2 print.
