Misty Lilac Skies, inspires me with the colours of Autumn days on the Mornington Peninsula. The calmness of a still day, when the sea and sky merge, is framed in a natural oak floating frame and ready to hang.

I currently live in the leafy eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I grew up on a farm in the beautiful Yarra Valley where my appreciation of nature and the elements developed into the driving force in my art. I have always enjoyed painting. I find it relaxing and like my own form of meditation. I paint with acrylics onto canvas and quite often use a combination of brush and pallet knife in my work.
I love the challenge of trying to interpret the relationships of light and colour in what we see in nature.
