Building on recent experiments with transparent layers, I wanted to simply combine two colours in different key values in a grid format. The difficulty was getting tones correct to get the smooth colour transitions of blue and magenta into an array of purple shades through to a single white highlight.
Composed off 100 squares in varying colours, this hard edge abstract painting would suit a variety of contemporary spaces.
