I most prefer the artistic medium of printmaking (linoleum prints and screenprints) and I paint on canvas with acrylic (paint, impasto gel and aerosol). Much of my work comes directly from what I observe in the world around me, especially when I am on country for cultural activities, sites work, bushwalking and fishing. I am greatly influenced by my family and community and my Aboriginal and Australian heritage, connection to country and language (Gamilaraay). www.facebook.com/mawugi www.instagram.com/mawugi
