This original artwork is influenced by street art style on walls and old billboards, given a ripped and torn look with a weathered patina. The background collage is made from old gig posters torn from city walls. Applied over the different layers are stencils, spray paints, drips, splashes and paint pens. The main image, which is composed separately as a digital art collage and printed out, is then wheat-pasted on top . Three layers of high gloss acrylic varnish are then applied to give it a glassy look. This original artwork has a rough textured finish created by built up layers, reflecting artwork or posters on street walls that have been built up and layered over time. Any imperfections are part of the overall urban style and genre of the finished work.
