In the top half of the artwork all shapes are overlapping, odd, unusual, asymmetrical bunch up making a mess of color and shapes. the bottom is perfecting crisp block lines vertical representing each of the colors the mess of shapes incorporates. the frame is part of the work, having been painting over and painted on.

This piece was based off of my backyard dappled light coming through the foliage. I traced the shapes and mimicked the odd shapes that were forming in the shadows. Experimenting with color I selected a palette that felt close to my mood that afternoon.

Mosaic, grid like patterning from large tiles to small tiles all done in an array of colors to still mimic light and shadow, tone, and depth

Small artwork appearing as though it was once even squares lined up and painted multiple colors, but now has been warped and twisted. They are predominantly soft colors with bursts of dark navy blue scattered throughout

Wooden base that is kept true and predominant within the who9le piece. Sections of sharp colored linework sit neatly next to cartoonish scribbles.

Block lines of medium width horizontal, most blue and orange with sections of dark blue and lilac to break it apart. very innocently in one of the blocks written by hand in block letters it simply says "I watched porn before I made this" in blue.
