My love of round art is the way it naturally draws the eye in a circular motion. This shape carries an inherent symbolism of wholeness, unity, and continuity due to its seamless, unbroken form.
The textured background in this striking piece creates natural patterns found in sand dunes or molten metal, adding a sense of organic fluidity to the work. The rich, metallic red-gold tones shift in intensity, from deep, burnished golds to lighter, shimmering accents, creating a sense of movement as the light hits different parts. This artwork changes depending on the lighting and viewed angle but the overall effect is that of burnished, red-gold over a base of purple, black and light gold exuding opulence and sophistication.
