Melbourne during the longer period of lock-down was a tough time for many. I realised the need for artwork that gave hope and protection, and began painting Michael the Protector of Peace. This is the second version of the painting, in which I have added a blue/purple background to enable the full figure of Michael when the canvas overlaps the stretcher frame.
