Artwork Description

The inspiration for this work came from the title of a poem by Indonesian poet Putu Oka Sukanta.
My painting is my own vision of an impossible, impassable canyon that somehow I crossed it with unexpected and sometimes miraculous intervention by ? angels? a spirit eagle? incredible luck, suggested by the rainbow bridge? all of the above? We may not know where luck or good fortune come from, but we are grateful and discover renewed hope.
In a home, if it speaks to the collector then it will be a reminder of hope and support from a higher power.
