My Dad always goes out fishing in Borumba Dam. It's located just South of Gympie, Queensland.

He sent me a photo and it was beautiful and I decided I'm going to really try and do a nature scene. Something completely different to my crazy abstract style.

So I took my time, 6months in fact going in with immense details & textures, getting that outback rustic style with a gorgeous sunset haze behind the mountain ranges while still putting a sense of fantasy, abstract style on it.

If you've got plants in the house it's perfect as the resin acts like a glass mirror reflecting the plant life on the water giving the painting a full 360° feel of you standing their immersing yourself into the scene I've created.
