Swish, my most cherished & loved creations, a swirl & swish of smooth textures that intertwine, melds & overlap without clashing.
Multi layered pouring medium with rich & saturated inks stream through the almost glass like structure.
Some say it looks like the coral reef, others say it's what raw imagination looks like.
This beautiful & mesmerizing piece of mine is simply to enjoy and interpret how you see fit.
It's spectacular in shaded areas showing off the layers under the layers of this beautiful medium, almost like looking at frozen ice structures with a stream trickling over.
Closer you get the more layers you see...And feel, SOO SOFT to touch.
I didn't want a single blended hue of blue & green.
I wanted some powerful deep blues smooth and soft in some areas & then other areas of flowing colours almost like oil on water, never melting into each other.
Their is around 6 litres of pouring medium on this piece and while it seems to be a swirl of poor it on and let it set it was actually all designed..
Each section carefully structured with specific colour schemes.
I used a tiny syringe to slowly create lines & desired patterns through out the piece allowing me to not waste any product but in doing this i could put different colours next to each other without them blending into 1 colour.
As it is on canvas I couldn't go all out as it would sink to the middle, so when 1 section dries I can work on another section.
After a few hours the consistency is almost like honey, wet but won't move allowing me to put more colours next to it.
4 days between sections to dry completely before I went in again & layered more over the top.
I worked on swish for over 6 months & I can surely say their are over 100 layers of mesmerizing dips and swirls, streams & flows.
In direct sunlight more of the teal, aqua & bright sea blues come forth while shaded areas bring through deep dark blues, greens & translucent layers.
It's honestly amazing to just stare at for hours.
I've had this for 2 years now & I'm still discovering patterns and areas inside of it.
I had the most peacefull music on throughout this entire piece and every moment was beautiful, I poored my soul into this beautiful wonder & I really enjoyed making this, over 200hours went into this piece & every moment was amazing.
