A dear friend always arrives at my door with flowers from her garden and the hope they’ll inspire some work. The golden freesias are now a favorite….these ones in a maple syrup jar on a checkered cloth. Original, prints are also available.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
