Coralie

We’ve been experimenting growing Dahlias all summer. This one has been a beauty - Coralie. The work is delicate and feminine in particular focussing on the transparent greens vase with a single bloom taking centre stage.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
