Dancing Dollies

I bought these lovely orchids for Mum and had do do a quick sketch before they left the house. Lovely jewel like blues and purples make for a lively work.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
