Fall

This work is based from travels to Victoria Falls located on the Zambia, Zimbabwe border. The focus of the work is in the fall, the movement of water and the atmospheric mist. Whilst I could make the work ‘ready to hang’ if desired I think the work would do well to be framed.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
