For The Love Of Colour

My daughter and I have started a cut flower farm. We’ve had an abundance of colour and flowers and bugs :)! The painting is all about the flowers they’re taking centre stage. The cold wax has added texture and leaves a matte finish.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
