My daughter and I have started a cut flower farm. We’ve had an abundance of colour and flowers and bugs :)! The painting is all about the flowers they’re taking centre stage. The cold wax has added texture and leaves a matte finish.

Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory.
