This work was inspired by the beautiful flowers and painted for the Mavis Little Artist Of The Year finalist exhibition. The flowers are quite textured and supported by the plain red vase and background. This work is framed.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
