I have just returned from a trip to Greece where cats are a part of life. They meander in and out of restaurants, sun themselves in the middle of the local market and happily wait for a little fish to fall from your plate. I’m have sketches and images for a little series which I’m looking forward to. Prints available

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
