Palette Of Poppies

We've had a great season of poppies in the garden this year (after working out that human hair keeps the wombat and bunnies) away. They're my favourite flower, vibrant colours, ethereal with sensuous stems.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
