Paper Daisies (M)

Autumn is on the way with its riotous colour palette. Paper Daisies are such a faithful enduring pot of colour. In this work I’ve used big brush strokes, bold colours and loose figurative work to allow the experience of the energetic palette to speak. The cold wax medium gives texture and a Matt candle like finish. Prints are also available on request.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
