Artwork Description

This lovely bundle of Freesias was dropped at the door in the middle of stage four lockdown. They’re such a happy colour and a delicate flower with loopy stems. I have limited the palette to let the flowers have centre stage. The original was painted with oil and cold wax medium. . Image itself is 40 x 50cm. Printed on a 51 x 61cm On Hahnemuhle photo rag. other sizes can be ordered on request.

Artist Bio

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory.
