White On Grey

This work is inspired from a little post gifted to me. I had never noticed how fun grevillia are including their buds. I went for whites on grey to allow their interesting shape to be the focus.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
