These lovely blush colored roses were a thank you gift from my daughter, The work captures soft and thoughtful moment. They are figurative in style and the work is quite textured with the use of cold wax medium.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
