Wobbly Pot

Leucadendron is one of the lovely little plants that is nice and hardy and so pretty in the garden. Piled into a lovely wobbly ceramic pot with a simple background so that it remains the main player on the stage. The wax medium adds texture and transparency whilst leaving a candle like matte finish.

Bronwen is a Melbourne based artist. She paints mainly with oil, sometimes adding a cold wax medium. Her paintings are developed from observational sketches made on site and then revisited in the studio. Whilst remaining largely figurative, she pays homage to contemporary art theory. Subjects include landscape, figure, still life and animals studies.
