This painting was heavily influenced by a huge urn of foliage I had in my studio for a few weeks. It was full of flamboyant tropical leaves and the odd flower all jostling for space.
The title comes from the feeling of being lost in a moment of time where you are just enjoying that moment and nothing else matters as this was the feeling I was experiencing whilst painting this artwork.
The blues are bright and eye catching. The mark making gives it texture that draws you in to run your hand across it.
