My works give a voice to the voiceless. I am a wildlife conservation artist inspired by endangered species and the detrimental impact humans are having on our precious environment. The works in the Great Barrier Reef series are a comment on the state of our oceans due to pollution and climate change. Single use plastics are a convenience item that we don't have to use. It is not only the discarded rubbish but also the production of the plastics that contribute to this worsening problem.

I work using oil on aluminium panel. The pieces are highly detailed asking the viewer to believe in the scene. I strive to create empathy in my works. If you can empathise with an animal you are more likely to care and want to make a difference. If my works can create a discussion and encourage change, I feel they are successful.
