Reflecting on this mixed media work, I realise how much this painting says about me -
Chair inherited from great Aunty Pat. Table a hand-me-down from Aunty Carmel.
Vase, a gift full of flowers when daughter was born.
Candle, a Christmas present from sister in law.
Couch-arm in the foreground part of the couch inherited from parents-in-law.
Little copper bowl on the window sill found in a pile of discarded bits and pieces stacked in a trailer ready for the dump.
Lily's from my garden - the original bulb was a gift from Von around 20 years ago.

Interestingly, the mixed media speaks to my eclectic approach to interior design. None of this was intentional, it was more intuitive, the intention comes later...now when I tell the story about it. Such is art. 🙂
