This is an abstract painting of an old radio, drawing on the details and design of the art deco era. Using colours and textures for the veneers of gold, enamel and wood, I wanted to convey something of its craftmanship and style.
Sides are painting black, as can be seen in the second photo.
Finished with a matt varnish and signed on the back.
The painting is on a cradled wood panel, so it is similar to a stretched canvas in terms of its structure.
