I have for awhile been inspired by thunderstorms and in artworks, the emotions evoked in those and the visual representation. Things in the thunderstorms that make people go oh! Feelings of scariness, nervousness, thrill, excitement or awe. This work is a commission piece for a client's son who works on that boat and he wanted to see it through stormy seas and imagine if it happened in real life, something to thrill his walls he said.
