Artwork Description

A Symbolic work from my COUCH SERIES created from the 1990s through to the mid 2000s. This work was executed in 2001 in charcoal, ink, collage
My couch series was inspired by the hard rubbish collections, there were always discarded couches!
The couch -people's refuge, rest, comfort, conversations and couch shenanigans -
this work awaits the viewer's interpretation.

BIO
Chris is a full time mixed media artist, with a BA Fine Arts (Painting) and has been exhibiting widely in solo, selected and group shows since 1985.
