My work is focused on people their relationship with each other and their environments.
My 2002 series ‘Between’ recognizes our moments of decision, passages of time, feelings of development or stasis. How often do we procrastinate or skirt the issue, awaiting the correct position or for the solution to present itself? We inhabit the space Between.

BIO
Chris is a full time mixed media artist, with a BA Fine Arts (Painting) and has been exhibiting widely in solo, selected and group shows since 1985. Chris has won several awards, the most recent being -2023 WINNER Linden Postcard Show, The Nina Taylor Birthday Card Award and previously: 2017 RUNNER UP ANL Maritime Art Award 2016 WINNER (Dreamscape) Drawing Category Daylesford Art Show, Vic -Judge Victor Rubin, renowned Australian artist. 2015 WINNER (Life Series Vignettes 2014 "FAMILY") Lost In Sculpture, Indoor Award, Dunkeld, Vic - Judge Kirsten Paisley, Deputy Director, NGV Her 2016 solo "CONNECTIONS IN UNKNOWN SPACES" received widespread acclaim.
