A small playful heavily textured artwork created using Charcoal, Ink, Collage and Text, based on the idea of a day out exploring an unknown destination.

In my works I build up lots of layers of inks, pastel and use collage, including text as a painting and drawing tool. The layers represent our layers of history.
I combine these elements with drawing techniques, to create a story for the viewer’s interpretation and enjoyment.
