I was standing in the crystal clear waters by the Moonta Bay jetty when I captured the reference photo for this painting. The rustic wood contrasts with the clean seawater. Moonta Bay jetty is on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. The Yorke Peninsula offers some of the best fishing in Australia. This painting is currently being exhibited at the Stationmasters Gallery, Strathalbyn until the 30th May as part of my seascapes exhibition.
