As an artist living and creating in the glorious Blue Mountains there is always inspiration to draw on. On this occasion it is the special light that filters through the lofty majestic eucalyptus gums at end of a winter's day, when the air is crisp and clear.
This painting has been hand painted with quality professional grade art acrylic paints in blues, teal and greens to develop and blend the myriad of turquoise tones seen here. The painting also has highlights of metallic gold and copper tones contrasting against rich dashes of indian red.
This statement piece was created using various techniques combined to allow increased flow, interaction and separation of colours to create interesting patterns.. This is a one-of-a-kind painting of many layers and dimensions that can never be replicated. A gorgeous variety of professional grade acrylic paints, intense pigments were used including metallic bronze, soft gold, copper and rich dashes of Indian Red..
This artwork is finished with its sides painted black all around, to stand out against a wall, and has been given a varnish to provide a beautiful soft sheen finish. The metallic painting fine pigments used reflect the shifting light beautifully really bringing the painting to life.

This artwork is available now and is ready to hang. It will leave my studio within 3 business days. The painting continues down the sides of the canvas so there is no need to frame. Should you choose Bluethumb’s framing option please allow additional time. The greatest of care is taken with all my artwork and it will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard. Packaging and delivery charge within Australia are included in the artwork price.
