This painting is of the sea mist hanging around the wild seas on Tasmania’s south coast. The view is from Remarkable Cave just beyond Port Arthur. In the far distance are the dole rite columns of Port Raoul. The colors used in this plain ting are burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, yellow oxide, van-Dyke brown, cobalt teal and titanium white.
