Claire is a mixed media artist who works out of a home studio in Melbourne creating joyful and colourful artwork. Her aim is to connect to the inner joy present in us all.
Originally trained as an Architect, she has been creating and painting her whole life and is now allowing herself to fully exploring this creative side.
Acrylics are her go to medium with oil sticks, pastels, graphite and collage mixed in to create layers and layers and a depth of colour which is unique and unrepeatable. Mark-making and text are an integral part of her works creating a textural and visual response. A colourist by choice, her works are a celebration of joyous abandon as she tames the many hues into an orderly arrangement.
