Artwork Description

Acrylic on wood, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This is an original Acrylic painting on wood panel from my ‘Still Life’ Series. This piece is inspired by my love of Orla Kiely and a celebration of the everyday items we find in our homes.

Painting measures approximately 40.5cm wide x 30 high and 4cm deep.

Painting is signed and varnished and will be carefully packaged and shipped with Australia Post.

Painting is unframed but edges are painted and can be hung as is or would look also look good in an oak frame.

Two red-necked Avocets fly into the sunset. A sail boat drifts towards a colourful horizon. Cliffs line the edge of the ocean on the right side and a peach coloured sun hangs above the horizon in the background. Two black swans swim gracefully beneath pink blossom blooms. A red sun sinks towards the horizon.A family of Australian black swans swim gracefully on a moonlit river. The edges of the painting are filled with stylised circular Eucalyptus blossoms with swirling yellow stems. A pale golden moon hangs in the background. One of the cygnets rides on its mothers back while 3 other baby swans are in the water beside the parents.Table scene of pink Fink jug, gin bottle, potted plant, mug and lemons and mandarins. An i-phone sits on the table on the left on a green tablecloth and a camera and sugar bowl are on the right hand side. There is the suggestion of a bookshelf in the background.
