Native Sanctuary celebrates the colour, character and quiet companionship found within the bush. Inspired by my love of Australian wildlife and my own bird photography, I have brought together familiar birds and native flora in a richly layered, imagined landscape. Soft earthy tones and gentle vertical textures create a sense of depth and atmosphere while touches of vibrant colour capture the energy and beauty of the bush. The painting reflects those small moments of connection in nature- the birds we notice, the landscapes we remember, and the sense of calm and belonging that comes from being surrounded by the natural world.
