This colourful, bright painting was inspired by a need to cheer up myself and my viewer. On a dreary, wet day, been isolated for quite a long time, I decided to produce something bright, playful and colourful. I love colour, shapes and lines but also movement so after many lovely washes on the background for the movement, and lots of time with my ruler for the shapes and lines I was happy with the result. It would be a lovely cheerful addition to any room.
