This is an abstract take of the ocean coming onto the beach. This version I have used a gradient of pinks for the sand to represent the sunset reflecting on the sand. Inspired by when I lived in the Whitsundays and spent my days off on the surrounding Islands of Airlie Beach. This painting has a heavy textures to create the water ripples - movement and the rough sand. A piece inspired to calm almost like a meditation piece where you feel like you are at the beach. Perfect for a coastal home or a wanting to bring the beach vibes into ones home. The colours are a mix of deep blues, turquoise, sky blues and pinks for the sand with a white wash which shows on the textures.
