This is my first white and yellow flowers in a pink vase painting. I also tried a new texture for the vase too, very effective. I originally was inspired by my daisy flowers in my garden but wanted to chunk up the petals. I love the vibrant warm yellow hues of their centres with the white and soft yellow petals against a nice contrasting blue background with splashes of blues, greens, turquoise, deep blues, pinks, silver, beige and gold. The vase is super textural too with a white wash to pop the textures even more. Finished with a satin varnish. These paintings always look better in real life as hard to capture in a photo. The close ups give a better idea.
