Urban Pop mixed media Painting.

This work is made using Street Posters & other Recycled Materials, it takes it’s cues from Graffiti in City Laneways and Billboard.

This piece was created first by collaging recycled Street Posters and was then overlaid with Acrylic Paint and Sugar Spray Packs to build up the multi colour finish. Finally the Main imagine was sketched on with Paint Pens.

The Painting comes Framed in White and mounted under a clear perspex sheet and features an image of a 1960’s icon Brigitte Bardot as the main focal point.

This work has multiple layers of paint & paper built up to create a thick textured look, including bumps, lumps of paint and rips that become part of the overall street art/ abstract effect.
