Artwork Description

This artwork was a finalist in the Norvill Art prize in 2012 but it also shows a deserted motorway north of Sydney reflective of the current times. It was partly influenced by the work of Giorgio de Chirico but predominantly by seeing the monumental roadcuts observed on many drives from Sydney to Brisbane.
