This painting is painted using many thin layers of oil on canvas to achieve vibrancy in colour. It is a medium-large-sized painting on high-quality handmade canvas stretcher frames. These stretcher frames are warp-resistant. A linen canvas has been hand-stretched over the frame and the sides of this painting reveal a natural cotton canvas. The painting is made using small brushstrokes and the texture of the paint and brush marks are visible on the surface of the canvas. This artwork is framed in a light Victorian Ash wood that has been hand polished and waxed.
