About

Grace Huang was born in Guangzhou, China, where she grew up, and studied at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts and Art Education. Now She lives and works in Melbourne Australia.

Painting to her is a way for her to express her thoughts and emotions, she is interested in exploring the art and reality in everyday life, she aims to deliver her ideas to the viewers participate and inspire their imagination. She thinks, to a certain extent, we have explored the art world from different perspectives.

Grace was a multiple award winner, including the CERTIFICATE of EXCELLENCE (2017) and the MERIT AWARD (2016) and The Nominee of PALM ART AWARD (2017 & 2016), by Art Domain Group, Germany; The Best Landscape in Mortimore Art Prize in NSW (2013); The Best Urban Landscape in Camberwell Art Show in Melbourne (2012); winner of Victor Harbour Exhibition Open Section Award, in South Australia (2002) and Herald Sun Camberwell Art Award, in Melbourne (2001); The High Commendations in The Fleurieu Food & Wine Art Prize, Fleurieu Biennale in South Australia (2016 & 2011); as well as a multiple selected finalist in ARTBOX.PROJECTS NEW YORK 1.0 (2018); Cliftons Art Prize, in Melbourne venue (2017 & 2016); Brisbane Art Prize, in QLD (2017 & 2016); Hawkesbury Art Prize, in NSW (2013 & 2012); Muswellbrook Art Prize, in NSW (2013); Redland Art Award, in QLD (2012 & 2008); Norvill Art Prize, in NSW (2010); MacarthurCook Art Award, in Melbourne (2008); and John Leslie Art Prize, in Victoria (2004), Australia.
