It showed me how technically difficult it was to replicate a simple can of soup this represented a combination of emotions distilled in a cauldron of tumultuous portions.

All art by DAVID SIMPSON

This piece was influenced by an artist I truly admire Roy Lichtenstein; I hope that Roy would have appreciated my take on her.

She is big, bold and unapologetically taking on the world and telling it how it is with style and courage, there is no way, anyone can miss her statement.

Her BEN-DAY DOTS comic book, Lichtenstein’s famed style, has been painted by hand, one dot at a time and that beautiful pink hue has 5 coats to make her really POP.

PINK LIPS is looking for a new home that will take a place of pride and joy in your home.

This painting is 91 cm long and 91 cm Wide with 40 cm Gallery corners.

This piece was influenced by Roy Lichtenstein.

It pays homage to those great American 1950-60 romance comics where men and women are full of life and love. …

The scene is one of drama and intrigue: young love, asking the timeless question, what happened and what comes next?

This art will become your taking piece, a puzzle to unravel a chance to look ponder and surmise.
The painting has been created to be true, to the origins of 60’s retro pop art; primary colours that capture attention with striking, bold touches from brush and palette knife and oil to extenuate the action and drama of the moment.

HE SAID THAT HE LOVED ME and is now looking for a place to hang.
