Painted in a botanical illustration style, these wonderful banksias were given to me as a gift and I have enjoyed painting them immensely. I see many different types of banksias in my local suburb, in bushland and gardens, and am drawn to their unique shape and colours, and those delightful twisty leathery leaves that make such an excellent subject to paint.
